Please Take The Publishing 2.0 Reader Survey

I’m running a survey to find out more about who reads Publishing 2.0.

Click here to take the survey.

Yes, the survey has some commercial intent, but I really would like to know more about you, especially all of you anonymous RSS readers. It’s only 20 quick questions, so it should only take 5-10 minutes. If you could spare the time, I would be most grateful — think of it as a way to make a small donation, in the form of your time, to Publishing 2.0.

I was going to call the survey the People Formerly Known As The Readers Survey, but I decided just to keep it simple.

As to what the commercial purposes are, more on that soon — although it shouldn’t come as a surprise that I’m looking to go off the beaten path. If you take the survey, there’s a question near the end asking for your feedback on one commercial element I’ve been pondering.

Lastly, I want to give a shout out to one of the great unheralded web services, which has been around long before Web 2.0 was even a twinkle in Tim O’Reilly’s eye — Surveymonkey, one of the original online survey tools. It is reliable, easy-to-use, and inexpensive (when compared to other over-priced online survey providers). And, Surveymonkey just relaunched its service with lots of new bells and whistles — it rocks. You’ll never see Surveymonkey written up on TechCrunch, but everybody uses it, and if you don’t, you should.

So please, if you have few minutes, take the survey.

And thank you for reading (participating in, conversing with, sharing, being part of the community of, etc.) Publishing 2.0. Writing this blog would be pretty dull without you.
